If you want to drive to work or enjoy weekend road trips in Korea, you will need a Korean driver’s license. You can either exchange your home country’s license or take the driving test here in Korea. If you live in Incheon, visiting the Incheon Driver's License Examination Office is your best route.

• Option 1: Exchanging a Foreign Driver’s License If your home country has a "Mutual Recognition of Driver's Licenses" agreement with the Korean National Police Agency, you can exchange your license without taking the driving tests.

  • Required Documents: Original foreign driver’s license, Passport, ARC, and 3 passport-sized photos.
